A reboot animation reviving Nagai Go's classic 'UFO Robo Grendizer' for the modern era. A man found in the desert with no memory is taken in by Kabuto Koji and given the name 'Daisuke,' but his true identity is Duke Fleed, a prince whose home planet Fleed was destroyed by the Vega Star Alliance. When the Vega forces begin their invasion of Earth and even Mazinger Z is overwhelmed, the alien god-machine Grendizer reveals itself. This grand-scale robot action is newly crafted with character designs by Sadamoto Yoshiyuki and series composition by Okochi Ichiro. The OP theme is 'Kaishin no Ichigeki' by GLAY, and the ED theme is 'Protect You' by BAND-MAID.
