A fantasy depicting the battle of Kai, a boy forgotten by all of humanity after history is suddenly 'overwritten' in a world where the great war among five races had ended in humanity's victory. In the altered world, humanity lost the war, and dragons and demons now rule the surface. Upon meeting the mysterious girl Rinne, Kai inherits the hero's sword and stands against the formidable enemy races. Based on the light novel by Sazane Kei, the series is distinguished by its grand-scale premise of world alteration. The OP theme is 'Sekai Rinne' by Unlucky Morpheus, while the ED theme features different artists for each episode.
