A historical fiction based on the manga of the same name by Uoto, depicting the convictions and lives of people who risk everything to pursue the forbidden heliocentric theory. Set in a fictional country in medieval Europe where the Church controls even science, the story spans generations as it follows those who dare to uncover the truth of the universe despite the risk of being branded heretics in an era when geocentrism is considered absolute truth. The story begins when Rafal, a child prodigy granted early admission to university, encounters a shocking hypothesis through his meeting with the imprisoned scholar Hubert. The OP theme is 'Kaijuu' by Sakanaction, and the ED theme is 'Aporia' by Yorushika.
