Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible is a TV anime based on the manga by Nene Yukimori, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump. Junta Shiraishi is a first-year high school student with such a lack of presence that people don't notice him even when he's right next to them, and he's marked absent despite attending class every day — a true "background character."
