In/Spectre Season 2 is the second season of the TV anime based on the novel by Kyo Shirodaira. The novels are published under Kodansha Taiga, with a manga adaptation by Chashibu Katase serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine. The series has surpassed 5 million copies in cumulative circulation (as of May 2023). Animation production is by Brain's Base. Kotoko Iwanaga, enshrined as the "Goddess of Wisdom" by supernatural beings in her youth, serves as a mediator for troubles among them. Together with her boyfriend Kuro Sakuragawa, she takes on new supernatural cases including a snow woman's dilemma, the return of nemesis Rikka, and the mysterious "Sleeping Murder" serial killing, using "fictional reasoning" that weaves truth and fabrication.
