KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World

An isekai fantasy comedy based on the manga with the original story by Aoi Akeshiro and art by Hanzukiban Sonsho. Yukito Urabe, born as the son of a cult leader, dies during one of the cult's reckless rituals and is reincarnated into another world where the very concept of 'God' does not exist. Though Yukito is sick of religion, when he finds himself in mortal danger and cries out in prayer, a real goddess named 'Mitama' actually appears — and tells him that in order for her to use her powers, he needs to gather believers. What follows is a comical and fast-paced series about Yukito pulling every trick in the book to spread the faith and protect a village, making it a uniquely offbeat isekai reincarnation story. The opening theme 'I wish' by Kurusu Rin and the ending 'Steppin' Up Life!' sung by Kitou Akari in her role as Mitama bring brightness to the otherwise dark world.
