A laid-back daily life comedy based on the manga by Akihiko Higuchi, set in Tokyo's Tsukishima district. Elda is a shut-in elf who was summoned from another world during the Edo period and has been enshrined as a deity at a local shrine ever since. The series follows her daily life with Koito Koganei, the young shrine maiden who serves her at the Takamimi Shrine. Despite possessing centuries of knowledge and memories stretching back to the Edo era thanks to her immortality, Elda spends her modern days obsessing over anime and games. The interplay between this otaku elf and her no-nonsense shrine maiden is full of laughs while also conveying a genuine affection for downtown Tokyo's character and its history. The opening theme, 'Kien Romance' by Nanao Akari, sets a lively tempo, while the ending, 'Odoru Hikari' by Cody Lee (李), wraps things in a warm sound, together coloring this world that bridges the Edo and Reiwa eras.
