An SF romantic comedy based on the manga by Gido Amagakure. Ichiro Kuga is a young man struggling as a manga artist while raising his little sister and brother after losing both parents. When the supremely capable assistant Shiori Goshiki arrives to help, things seem to be looking up — but her true identity is a princess of the 'People of the Shooting Stars,' and a certain incident binds the two in a 'marital pact.' Though bewildered by their sudden marital bond, the two begin walking forward as a family, caring for each other along the way, in a heartwarming story. The opening theme, 'Tonariawase' by Matsumoto Chinatsu, with its gentle melody, and the ending, 'Near Stella' sung by Goshiki Shiori (CV: Yu Wakui), envelop the show's tranquil atmosphere built around the themes of stars and family.
