While building her relationship with her new partner Sprigatito, Liko becomes the target of the mysterious organization 'Explorers' over the secrets of her enigmatic pendant. Taken under the protection of the adventurer crew 'Rising Volt Tacklers' led by Friede, the two deepen their bonds with their companions and Pokemon as they embark on a grand adventure across the world. Taking the baton from Ash, who had been the face of the franchise for years, this series opens a new chapter brimming with the fresh appeal of a generational transition. The opening theme is asmi's 'Dokimeki Diary,' and the ending theme 'RVR ~Rising Volt Tacklers Rap~,' sung by the characters, delivers the joy of adventure through its pop rap style.
