Makabe Masamune was once deeply hurt when Adagaki Aki mocked him as 'Pig's Foot' during his chubby childhood, so he transformed himself into a handsome young man through extreme weight loss and rigorous training, devising a grand revenge plan to make Aki fall for him and then reject her in the most devastating way possible. In the second season, the stage shifts to Paris, France for the school trip, where the romantic cityscape draws the two ever closer, while the encounter with Muriel Besson, a French girl aspiring to be a manga artist, brings fresh complications. Though it starts as a revenge plot, the bittersweet transformation into genuine love is the greatest charm of this series. The OP theme is 'Please, please!' sung by Ohashi Ayaka, and the ED theme is 'twilight little star' sung by ChouCho.
