The second cour begins with Ann Halford, having earned the royal medal at the sugar confectionery competition and moved closer to her dream of becoming a Silver Sugar Master, setting out to reclaim her guardian fairy Shall, who sold himself for her sake. After negotiating with Bridget, who took Shall away, the two take on the major undertaking of creating sugar confections for the New Holy Festival. However, a mysterious presence lurking within the temple targets Ann, and the deep rift between humans and fairies becomes a trial that stands in her way. The story tenderly portrays how the feelings imbued in sugar confections gradually melt the hearts of the fairies, weaving a tale of cross-species love and trust. The OP theme 'Surprise' is performed by Nakashima Rei, and the ED theme 'door' is performed by Touyama Nao.
