An offbeat fantasy comedy in which the shut-in vampire girl Terakomari Gandesblood is appointed as a general of the imperial army through her father's connections. Surviving on luck and bravado while hiding her lack of real power, Komari becomes known as the 'Overlord of Slaughter' in a comedic spectacle. Animated by Project No.9, the opening theme 'Red Liberation' is performed by fripSide, and the ending theme 'Nemurenai feat. Kusunoki Tomori' is performed by MIMiNARI.
