An original theatrical animation by director Okada Mari, set in a sealed-off town that lost all its exits and even the flow of time itself after a steelworks explosion. In this stagnant world governed by the rule that nothing must ever change, the story follows the strange entanglement between Kikuiri Masamune, a boy suffocating in his stalled days, the enigmatic classmate Sagami Mutsumi, and Itsumi, a feral girl who cannot speak. The young people trapped in a frozen world search for who they should truly be amid forbidden change and emotional eruption. It is a story of irreplaceable feelings and loss born in a world that must never change. The theme song 'Shin-on' was provided by Nakajima Miyuki as her first-ever original composition written for an animated film.
