A direct sequel film to 'Digimon Adventure 02.' Time has passed since their adventures with Digimon, and the now-grown former members encounter a mysterious young man named Owada Rui. A giant Digitama appears above Tokyo Tower, and an original story unfolds that reveals the truth behind the birth of the Chosen Children. New versions of 'Target ~Akai Shougeki~' and 'brave heart' are featured as insert songs, and the ending theme 'Various Colors' is performed by AiM.
