The Imaginary

A theatrical animated film by Studio Ponoc, directed by Momose Yoshiyuki and based on the novel by A.F. Harrold. The story follows Rudger, a boy born from the imagination of a girl named Amanda, as he embarks on an adventure to discover his identity in a world inhabited by imaginary beings. The film beautifully animates the bittersweet yet universal theme of existing only when imagined and vanishing when forgotten. The theme song is 'Nothing's Impossible,' a collaboration between A Great Big World and Rachel Platten.
