A TV anime produced by OLM, based on the manga by Yasuki Tanaka serialized in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ (October 2017 - February 2021, completed), with over 150 million cumulative views. Set on the remote island of Hitogashima in Wakayama Prefecture, high schooler Shinpei Ajiro returns home after two years for the funeral of his childhood friend Ushio Kofune, only to be drawn into the island's legend that "those who see their shadow will die." An SF suspense story where Shinpei uses time loops to confront the island's mysteries and the entity known as Haine. Aired from April to September 2022 (25 episodes, 2 cours). Cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Shinpei, Anna Nagase as Ushio, and Yoko Hikasa as Hizuru. Music by MONACA.
