A TV anime produced by EMT Squared, based on the light novel series by Quantum, published by KADOKAWA under the Kadokawa Books imprint, with illustrations by Hana Amano. Originally serialized on Kakuyomu, the work won the Grand Prize in the Fantasy category of the 2nd Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest. Hero Leo Demonheart saved the world from the Demon Lord's army invasion. However, his overwhelming strength became a threat even to humans in the resulting peacetime, and he was ultimately expelled from the Holy Capital. Having lost his status, honor, and place to belong, the wandering Leo ends up at the doorstep of the battered Demon Lord's army. Concealing his true identity from Demon Lord Echidna, he works alongside the Four Heavenly Kings—Shutina, Lily, Mernes, and Edvard—to rebuild the army. An unconventional fantasy comedy about a hero working for the Demon Lord's army. 12 episodes. Main cast includes Kensho Ono as Leo, Marika Hondo as Echidna, and Shizuka Ito as Shutina.
