A TV anime produced by Okuruto Noboru, based on the manga by Mikoto Yamaguchi (story) and Yuki Sato (art) serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. The series has sold over 3.7 million copies. Friendship-loving high schooler Yuichi Katagiri enjoys fulfilling days with his close friends Shiho Sawaragi, Tenji Mikasa, Makoto Shibe, and Yutori Kokorogi. However, when 2 million yen of school trip funds is stolen, the five are dragged into the "Tomodachi Game," a game to repay 20 million yen in debt. The only clear condition is "don't doubt your friends," but cruel trials of friendship await. Aired from April to June 2022 (12 episodes).
