The second season of the TV anime produced by Kinema Citrus, based on the manga by Akihito Tsukushi serialized in Takeshobo's WEB Comic Gamma. The series has sold over 22 million copies (as of 2025). The suicide corps "Ganja" reaches the "City of the Unreturned" seeking the Golden City, but cannot return to the surface due to the curse of ascending. Riko, Reg, and Nanachi enter the "Village of the Hollows" and meet Faputa, the Princess of the Hollows, uncovering the truth hidden in the village's abyss. Aired from July to September 2022. Cast includes Miyu Tomita as Riko, Mariya Ise as Reg, Shiori Izawa as Nanachi, and Misaki Kuno as Faputa.
