Call of the Night

A TV anime produced by Liden Films, based on the manga by Kotoyama serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday (2019-2024, 20 volumes completed). The series has sold over 5.7 million copies (as of September 2025). Truant eighth-grader Ko Yamori ventures outside at night for the first time and meets vampire Nazuna Nanakusa. The condition to become a vampire is "to fall in love with a vampire." A special "night out" begins between Ko, who doesn't know love, and Nazuna. Aired from July to September 2022 (Fuji TV "Noitamina" block). Cast includes Gen Sato as Ko and Sora Amamiya as Nazuna.
