A theatrical anime produced by Shin-Ei Animation, based on the manga "Doraemon" by Fujiko F. Fujio, published by Shogakukan. A remake of the 1985 film. The Doraemon series has published approximately 300 million copies cumulatively. Released March 4, 2022, with box office revenue of 2.69 billion yen. One day during summer vacation, a palm-sized alien named Papi emerges from a small rocket Nobita finds. Papi is the president of Planet Pirika in the far reaches of space, fleeing from the dictator General Gilmore and his rebel army. Doraemon and friends use the Small Light to shrink themselves and bond with Papi, but a space battleship pursuing Papi attacks. Feeling responsible for involving everyone, Papi tries to face the rebel army alone. Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo head to Planet Pirika to save Papi.
