A TV anime produced by Madhouse, based on the manga by Miko Yasu, serialized in Kodansha's Morning. The series has exceeded 5 million copies in circulation (as of February 2023). Mai Kawai passed only the police exam out of all the civil service exams she took—becoming a police officer for the shallowest of reasons. Fed up with the grueling work, she clutches her resignation letter. Then Seiko Fuji, a former ace detective who graduated top of her police academy class, transfers to Machiyama Police Box as her new instructor. Known as "Miss Perfect" but rumored to have been demoted from the detective division for harassing juniors. Set at the police box of Okajima Prefecture's Machiyama Police Station, the series depicts the realistic, sometimes funny, sometimes tearful daily lives of female police officers. 13 episodes.
