A TV anime produced by Liden Films, based on the "Saiyuki" manga series by Kazuya Minekura, serialized in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM, adapting the "Even a Worm" arc. The Saiyuki series has exceeded 25 million copies in cumulative circulation. In Shangri-La, where humans and demons once coexisted, chaos erupts as someone plots to resurrect the great demon "Gyumaoh." During their westward journey, the four travelers—Genjo Sanzo, Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai—encounter the mysterious foreigner Hazel Grouse and his attendant Gat Nenehawk from the west. Hazel possesses the ability to resurrect humans using demon souls and aims to create "a world without demons." 13 episodes.
