A TV anime produced by TMS Entertainment, based on the spin-off manga by Mayuko Kanba (manga) and Gosho Aoyama (original work), serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday S, with cumulative circulation exceeding 2.5 million copies including digital editions (as of 2022). This gag comedy centers on Hanzawa-san, the materialized black silhouette "culprit" character from Detective Conan. Hanzawa-san moves to Beika Town to kill "a certain man," but finds that the town has an absurdly high murder rate, and he keeps getting caught up in incidents just by going about his daily life. Together with his beloved Pomeranian, Pometaro, Hanzawa-san begins his survival life in the crime-ridden city of Beika. 12 episodes, with worldwide exclusive streaming on Netflix. Main cast includes Shota Aoi as Hanzawa-san, Minami Takayama as Edogawa Conan, Wakana Yamazaki as Mouri Ran, and Inori Minase as Pometaro.
