A TV anime produced by Ajia-do Animation Works, based on the manga by Aimoto Sho serialized in Shueisha's "Jump SQ." since the January 2017 issue. The series has surpassed 8 million copies in circulation (as of December 2025). "Kemono" are supernatural creatures that have lived hidden among humans since ancient times. Inugami Kohachi, a kemono-specialized detective in Tokyo, visits a rural village where animal deaths have occurred and meets Kabane Kusaka, a boy bullied as "Dorotabo." Kabane is actually a half-oni (half-demon, half-human). Inugami brings Kabane to Tokyo, where he joins fellow kemono boys Shiki and Akira at the detective agency to solve various kemono-related cases. Gradually, the secrets of Kabane's birth and the "Fox" conspiracy shaking the kemono world are revealed. 12 episodes.
