A TV anime produced by project No.9, based on the light novel by Yuki Yaku published by Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko since May 2016, with illustrations by Fly. The series has surpassed 1.2 million copies (as of January 2021). Fumiya Tomozaki is one of Japan's top gamers but a loner in real life who declares "life is a trash game." He meets Aoi Hinami, the school's perfect heroine, who is also a top player of the same game. She challenges him: "Take this game called life seriously!" Under her guidance, Tomozaki learns real-life strategies—facial expressions, conversation skills, fashion—and gradually changes through interactions with classmates Minami Nanami and Fuka Kikuchi. 12 episodes.
