A TV anime produced by BN Pictures, planned and conceived by Bandai. The 5th installment of the Aikatsu! series and the first to combine live-action, anime, and CG. Ordinary high schooler Mao Otowa at Seirei Private High School must take over as top idol "Hana" in the idol game "Aikatsu Planet!" when the school's top idol Saku Harumei suddenly disappears. Using Swings to don dresses imbued with Drescia power, she competes in battle stages against rivals Ruli Tamaki, Ayumi Tsukishiro, and Kyoko Umekoji while aiming to become a true top idol. 25 episodes.
