An epic fantasy by the creator of "A Silent Voice." Over 4 million copies in circulation (as of April 2025). Aired on NHK E-Tele. A "sphere" cast upon Earth possesses the ability to transform into whatever stimulates it and to regenerate even after death. The sphere changes from a rock to a wolf, then takes the form of a boy who lived with the wolf, and is named "Fushi." During his journey, he meets tomboyish girl March, skilled archer Parona, and elderly woman Pioran, learning survival skills and warm emotions. However, the fated enemy "Knockers" target Fushi, and devastating farewells await. 20 episodes. Starring Reiji Kawashima, Rie Hikisaka, Aya Uchida, Rikako Aikawa, and Kenjiro Tsuda.
