Originally a web novel on "Kakuyomu." Over 3 million copies in circulation (as of October 2024). Yoshida, a 26-year-old salaryman, is rejected by his 5-year crush and senior colleague Gotou Airi. On his drunken way home, he encounters high school runaway Sayu Ogiwara sitting on the street. Unable to turn away the homeless girl, he lets her stay in exchange for doing housework. Yoshida confronts Sayu's past—she ran away from home in Hokkaido six months ago, staying at various men's homes—while trying to protect her place alongside junior colleague Mishima Yuha and coworker Hashimoto. 13 episodes.
