The second season of the TV anime produced by MAHO FILM, based on the manga by Naoki Yamakawa (story) and Akinori Nao (art) serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, with over 2.45 million copies in circulation (as of 2025). Yuusuke Yotsuya, a rational and solitary ninth-grader, is transported to a game-like alternate world along with classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki to undertake life-threatening quests. In the second season, Keita Torii joins as the fifth player and they tackle the fifth quest. In the land of Cortonel, they discover 15 years have passed since their last visit and reunite with Kahavel, now a mother. Yotsuya, who eliminates emotional reasoning and judges everything objectively, aims to prevent a party wipe and clear the game. The series spans 12 episodes.
