A TV anime produced by FLAGSHIP LINE, Yumeta Company, and Graphinica, based on the adventure game by aNCHOR (âge). It adapts the concluding entry of the "Muv-Luv" series by Kouki Yoshimune, originally released as a PC game in 2006, with over 800,000 copies sold across the franchise. Spanning 12 episodes (Season 1, Fuji TV "+Ultra" block), the story is set in a world plagued by decades of war against the extraterrestrial BETA. Protagonist Takeru Shirogane, having time-slipped from the end of the UNLIMITED arc to October 22, 2001, uses his knowledge of the future to fight against humanity's defeat. Training at the UN Yokohama Base with tactical surface fighters, he joins the 207th Training Squadron alongside Meiya Mitsurugi, Sumika Kagami, and Chizuru Sakaki in the "Alternative IV" plan.
