ARIA The CREPUSCOLO is a theatrical anime film produced by J.C.Staff. Based on the manga "ARIA" by Kozue Amano, serialized in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade, the film is the second theatrical installment in the ARIA anime series and was released on March 5, 2021. The manga (including its predecessor "AQUA") has sold over 4.65 million copies (as of 2021). Set in the tourist city of Neo-Venezia on the terraformed Mars known as "Aqua," the story follows Anya, an apprentice Undine (water guide) at the Orange Planet water guide company, who is worried about her seniors Alice Carroll and Athena Glory being unable to meet due to their busy schedules. While Athena seems downcast, Alice appears to be avoiding her for some reason. With help from her friends Ai and Azusa, Anya works to bring the two back together. With a runtime of 60 minutes, the film was chief directed and written by Junichi Sato, directed by Takahiro Natori, with character design and chief animation direction by Yoko Ito. The voice cast includes Ryo Hirohashi, Rina Sato, Ai Kayano, and Kiyono Yasuno. The music was composed by Choro Club feat. Senoo. Distributed by Shochiku.
