A TV anime produced by TMS/Nomad, based on the manga by Reiji Miyajima serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. Over 15 million copies in circulation (as of 2026). College freshman Kazuya Kinoshita, dumped by his girlfriend, uses a rental girlfriend service and meets the stunning Chizuru Mizuhara. Their strange relationship begins when he lies to his grandmother that she's his real girlfriend. Former girlfriend Mami Nanami, devilish Ruka Sarashina, and shy Sumi Sakurasawa also get involved, complicating Kazuya's love life. A romantic comedy depicting real feelings that gradually bloom from a relationship built on lies. 12 episodes. Directed by Kazuomi Koga, music by Kenichi Maeyamada (Hyadain).
