A TV anime produced by Production I.G, based on the manga by Ryosuke Takeuchi (story) and Hikaru Miyoshi (art) serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ. Set in late 19th-century Great Britain, William James Moriarty, the "Crime Lord," schemes to reform the corrupt aristocratic society. A dark hero story featuring Sherlock Holmes' nemesis Professor Moriarty as the protagonist. Together with brothers Albert and Louis, he challenges the class system through "perfect crimes." 11 episodes (first cour). Directed by Kazuya Nomura, music by Asami Tachibana.
