Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon

An original TV anime produced by Sunrise, based on the world of Rumiko Takahashi's Inuyasha (over 55 million copies), produced by Yomiuri TV. The story follows three half-demon princesses: Towa and Setsuna, twin daughters of Sesshomaru, and Moroha, daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome. Separated by a forest fire as children, Towa time-slips to modern era and is raised by Kagome's brother Sota, while Setsuna remains in the Sengoku period as a demon slayer under Kohaku, having lost her memories of Towa. Moroha works as a bounty hunter. Ten years later, a time tunnel reopens and Towa returns to the feudal era, reuniting the three as they search for clues to restore Setsuna's memories. 24 episodes featuring Sara Matsumoto as Towa, Mikako Komatsu as Setsuna, and Azusa Tadokoro as Moroha, with music by Kaoru Wada. ©Rumiko Takahashi/Shogakukan, Yomiuri TV, Sunrise 2020
