Originally planned for theatrical release but switched to Netflix worldwide exclusive distribution due to COVID-19. Winner of the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival Animation Division Excellence Award. Miyo Sasaki (nicknamed "Muge," meaning "Infinitely Mysterious"), a free-spirited 8th grader living in Tokoname, Aichi, has a crush on classmate Kento Hinode but always gets a cold response. Miyo has a secret: wearing a "cat mask" received from a cat spirit called "Cat Shopkeeper" at a summer festival, she transforms into a white cat named "Taro" to visit and be petted by Kento. But as cat life becomes increasingly comfortable, the boundary between human and cat blurs, revealing the Cat Shopkeeper's true purpose. Released on Netflix June 18, 2020, runtime 104 minutes.
