A TV anime produced by MAPPA, based on the manga by Meibii serialized in Kodansha's "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (15 volumes). During a prolonged civil war on the Patria continent, the Northern Union used forbidden technology to transform humans into superhuman soldiers called "Incarnates" imbued with the power of mythological beasts. After the war, the Incarnates gradually lost their humanity and became feared "beasts." Hank, the former Incarnate squad captain, continues his journey as a "Beast Hunter," killing his former comrades. He meets Schaal, a girl searching for her Incarnate father's killer, and they decide to travel together. 12 episodes. Directed by Jun Shishido with music by Yoshihiro Ike.
