A TV anime produced by J.C.STAFF, based on the manga by Kazuma Kamachi (story) and Arata Yamaji (art) serialized in KADOKAWA's "Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh" (12 volumes). A spinoff of "A Certain Magical Index." The "Toaru" series has 31 million copies in circulation (as of 2019). Accelerator, the strongest among the seven Level 5 espers in Academy City, had his fate changed after his defeat in the Sisters experiment and meeting Last Order. While recuperating in a hospital, Accelerator encounters Estelle Rosenthal, a necromancer, and becomes entangled in a new conspiracy targeting the Sisters. 12 episodes.
