The third season of the TV anime produced by Production I.G. An original animation series conceived by Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), with Season 3 written by Tow Ubukata. In a near-future where the massive surveillance network "Sibyl System" quantifies human souls to maintain public safety, two new Inspectors—Arata Shindo and Kei Mikhail Ignatov—join Division 1 of the Criminal Investigation Department. Arata possesses a special ability called "Mental Trace," and together with Kei, they uncover a massive conspiracy known as "Bifrost" lurking behind a series of incidents. Former Inspector Mika Shimotsuki and the shadow of Akane Tsunemori also play roles in the story. 8 episodes (each extended to one hour).
