An original TV anime produced by Production I.G. Set in the Kabukicho district of Shinjuku's East Side, the story follows detectives gathered at a boarding house run by Mrs. Hudson (CV: Junichi Suwabe). The genius detective Sherlock Holmes, who adores rakugo storytelling, is joined by his new partner John H. Watson. When a series of gruesome murders by Jack the Ripper occurs, they pursue the truth alongside characters like Fuyuto Kyogoku and James Moriarty. A mystery comedy featuring a colorful cast of detectives taking on the darkness of Kabukicho. 24 episodes (continuous two-cour run). Aired on MBS's "Animeism" block.
