Back Street Girls: Gokudolls

A TV anime produced by J.C.Staff, based on the manga by Jasmine Gyuh serialized in Kodansha's "Young Magazine." A comedy depicting three yakuza members who are ordered by their boss to become idols. After undergoing sex reassignment surgery and idol training, they debut in the entertainment industry as "Gokudolls." Their struggles are portrayed through CG animation and gags, comically adapting the manga's extreme premise. Main cast includes Daisuke Ono, Satoshi Hino, and Kazuyuki Okitsu. 10 episodes total.
