A TV anime produced by ISSEN and XEBEC, the first season of Bushiroad's BanG Dream! Project. Protagonist Kasumi Toyama, guided by the "beat of the stars," discovers a star-shaped guitar in a pawnshop and forms the girls' band Poppin' Party. The five members—Kasumi, Tae Hanazono, Rimi Ushigome, Saaya Yamabuki, and Arisa Ichigaya—strive toward their first live performance at the venue SPACE. Notable for its tie-in with real bands, with voice actresses performing live concerts themselves. 13 episodes plus OVA. ©BanG Dream! Project
