Kuromukuro

Kuromukuro is an original TV anime produced by P.A.WORKS as their 15th anniversary project, aired from April 2016. Set in Toyama Prefecture, the story follows a samurai awakened from the Warring States period and modern high school girl Yukina Shirahane as they pilot the giant robot "Kuromukuro" against an alien invasion. The series impressively portrays bonds that transcend time alongside beautiful Toyama landscapes. 26 episodes.
