Death Parade

Death Parade is an original TV anime directed and written by Yuzuru Tachikawa, aired from January 2015 in the Noitamina block. Produced by Madhouse, the series is set in the mysterious bar "Quindecim" in the afterlife, where white-haired arbiter Decim conducts death games with the deceased to determine whether their souls will be reincarnated or sent to the void. Based on the 2013 Anime Mirai short "Death Billiards," it poses profound philosophical questions about human nature and the meaning of life.
