Tokyo Ghoul √A is the second season of the TV anime based on Sui Ishida's manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, with over 44 million copies in circulation (as of 2017). Aired from January 2015, the series is set in a Tokyo where man-eating "Ghouls" lurk among humans. Following an original route diverging from the manga, half-ghoul university student Ken Kaneki joins the ghoul organization "Aogiri Tree" in this dark fantasy. Produced by Studio Pierrot.
