Sound! Euphonium

Sound! Euphonium is a TV anime based on Ayano Takeda's novel published by Takarajimasha, aired from April 2015. Set in the concert band club at Kitauji High School in Uji, Kyoto, the youth ensemble drama follows euphonium player Kumiko Oumae and her bandmates as they aim for gold at the national competition. Under strict new advisor Noboru Taki, the students learn to seriously confront music. Produced by Kyoto Animation, the series was highly acclaimed for its delicate instrument detail and beautiful performance animation.
