Starmyu is an original TV anime produced by C-Station, aired from October 2015. Set at the musical department of Ayanagi Academy, where students talented in performing arts gather, the youth story follows Yuta Hoshitani and four other boys aiming to enter the Star Course, training under the eccentric seniors of the "Kao Council" as they take on musical performances. Song and dance stage sequences and the boys' friendship and growth are highlights.
