Mekakucity Actors is a TV anime based on Jin (Shizen no Teki-P)'s multimedia project "Kagerou Project," aired from April 2014. Produced by Shaft under chief director Akiyuki Shinbo, the series originated from a song series posted on Niconico and expanded into novels and manga. It tells the story of the "Mekakushi Dan" (Blindfold Gang), a group of youths possessing eye-related supernatural abilities. Centered on shut-in Shintaro Kisaragi, the series gradually reveals each member's past and the secrets behind their powers. It attracted attention as a new generation anime born from Vocaloid culture. 12 episodes.
