Nobunaga Concerto is a TV anime based on Ayumi Ishii's manga serialized in Shogakukan's Gessan magazine, with over 5 million copies in circulation. Aired from October 2014, produced by Fuji Television, this historical comedy follows modern high schooler Saburo who time-slips to the Sengoku era and swaps places with the identical-looking Oda Nobunaga, aiming for national unification. Despite knowing little about history, Saburo tries to follow his "history textbook" while making his own choices that shape events. The anime aired alongside a live-action drama starring Shun Oguri. 10 episodes.
