A TV anime based on Nagomu Torii's light novel. Produced by Kyoto Animation. The immortal half-youmu Mirai Kuriyama meets Akihito Kanbara, a boy with youmu blood, and becomes drawn into battles against youmu. A dark fantasy showcasing the beautiful animation unique to Kyoto Animation and impressive action scenes. Directed by Taichi Ishidate.
